Dr. Joseph Dehyar graduated from the Temple School of Dentistry in 2005. His academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and research experience in chemical sciences, including work at LyondellBasell Chemical Company, where he obtained a patent for the use of comb-branched copolymers in gypsum compositions. He also conducted research on ovarian cancer from 1999–2000 at Chester Hospital in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Dedicated to professional growth, Dr. Dehyar regularly attends conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay updated on advancements in dentistry and related fields. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association® (ADA) and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and has been recognized with the Excellence in Dentistry Award for his contributions to the field. He has been practicing dentistry since 2005.

Dr. Dehyar’s goal as a dentist is to help patients achieve their ultimate health by providing the best possible dental care and fostering a positive, comfortable environment for everyone who entrusts him with their needs.

Family is an important part of Dr. Dehyar’s life, with three dentists in his immediate family. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with loved ones, hiking, and volunteering to help others. He has visited Afghanistan three times to assist orphans and families with dental emergencies, and one of his aspirations is to provide free dental care on a larger scale for those in need there.

Dr. Elham Dehyar graduated from the Temple University School of Dentistry in 2019 after completing his undergraduate studies at George Mason University. He began practicing dentistry that same year, although his connection to the practice goes back much further. Dr. Dehyar has worked in the same office since high school and is proud to now care for many of the same patients who have known him since he was a teenager.

Dr. Dehyar’s goal as a dentist is to provide exceptional, comfortable, and comprehensive care that makes a meaningful difference for patients in the community. He is committed to continuing education and advanced clinical training. Dr. Dehyar has completed more than 100 hours of advanced education in dental implants and has earned Fellowship status with both the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (AAIP) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). His surgical training has included live implant education as well as a multi-day clinical program in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he gained hands-on experience with extractions, sinus lifts, implant placement, platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), and bone grafting.

Since entering practice, Dr. Dehyar has built extensive experience in restorative, surgical, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. His experience includes approximately 2,500 dental crowns, 1,000 bridges, 5,000 fillings and restorative cases, 1,500 tooth extractions, 1,000 wisdom tooth extractions, 400 implant restorations, and 250 dental implant placements. He also provides root canal treatment, periodontal therapy, dentures and partial dentures, veneers, bonding, professional teeth whitening, and other comprehensive dental services.

Dr. Dehyar also provides Invisalign® treatment, and the practice has achieved Diamond Provider status. He is especially focused on providing comprehensive care in-house whenever possible, including dental implants, bone grafting, surgical and wisdom tooth extractions, root canal treatment, and Invisalign.

Advanced technology is also an important part of his approach to diagnosis and treatment planning. The practice uses CBCT 3D imaging, guided implant technology, digital impressions, and iTero® scanning to support accurate planning, efficient care, and a more comfortable patient experience.

Dr. Dehyar maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association® (ADA), as well as the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Outside the office, Dr. Dehyar enjoys spending time with his wife, working out, hiking, and traveling.

Dr. Tamanah Anwari earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, graduating in 2022. She also completed her undergraduate studies at VCU, where she majored in biology with minors in chemistry and psychology, graduated summa cum laude, and was an Honors Student.

Committed to continual learning, Dr. Anwari takes CE courses every few months to further her dental education and skills. Her advanced training includes Molis Invisalign Coaching and CAD/CAM digital dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association® (ADA), the Virginia Dental Association (VDA), and the American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD).

Having grown up in Northern Virginia, Dr. Anwari moved back from Richmond and has been practicing in the area for over two years. Her goal as a dentist is to never stop learning and to always provide quality, personal care for her patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident that they are receiving the best dental care.

Dr. Anwari is the oldest of four children, a first-generation college graduate, and a first-generation American. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys drawing and painting—mostly realistic portraits and landscapes—reading novels, and trying new recipes. She specializes in cosmetic dentistry and is an Invisalign® provider.

Dr. Nabiel Ahmad Dehyar joined the practice in 2025 after earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, where he graduated cum laude. Before dental school, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from George Mason University, graduating magna cum laude in 2021.

Since beginning practice, Dr. Dehyar has developed broad experience in restorative, cosmetic, surgical, and preventive dentistry. His experience includes more than 350 dental crowns, 75 bridges, 800 fillings and restorative cases, 300 tooth extractions, and 80 wisdom tooth extractions. He has also completed root canal treatment, dentures and partial dentures, implant restorations, teeth whitening, clear aligner cases, TMJ and night guard therapy, and periodontal treatment.

Dr. Dehyar is committed to continuing education and has completed approximately 30 hours of advanced coursework since dental school. His continuing education has included focused training in clear aligners and orthodontics, restorative dentistry, endodontics, periodontal therapy, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and prosthodontics. He is a member of the American Dental Association® (ADA).

He especially values the family-oriented environment of the practice and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and team members. His goal is to provide high-quality dental care in a comfortable setting while helping patients better understand their oral health and treatment options so they can make informed decisions about their care.

Outside the office, Dr. Dehyar is very family-oriented and enjoys spending weekends at family events and group activities. In his free time, he likes watching football, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
