Meet the Team at Dehyar Dental

Susan is a dynamic and multifaceted professional who serves as both a registered dental hygienist and hiring manager at Dehyar Dental. She earned her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene in 2018 and has been an integral part of the team since 2022.

Her career is marked by continuous learning and advancement, driven by a passion for delivering top-notch patient care. Susan’s dedication is evident in her patient-focused approach, emphasizing preventive care to help patients achieve their oral health goals. As a valued member of the management team, she also ensures the work environment remains healthy, safe, and effective.

Outside of work, Susan cherishes spending time with her family and friends, exploring new destinations, and hiking with her husband.

Maneet Bedi joined the practice on November 28, 2007, and has been a valued team member for 18 years. She completed two years of dental assisting school with extended functions at West Potomac Dental Careers and received an associate’s degree in social sciences.

Maneet appreciates the supportive and team-oriented environment within the practice. She values working alongside a team dedicated to excellent patient care and enjoys being part of a workplace where collaboration and compassion guide everything they do.

As Head Dental Assistant, Maneet helps lead the clinical team by setting standards, maintaining organization, and training others. She coordinates daily workflows, troubleshoots issues, and ensures everyone has what they need to work efficiently. She strives to lead by example through professionalism, strong communication, and a positive attitude.

Outside of work, Maneet enjoys dancing, hosting fun get-togethers, playing sports, and sharing good food with friends. She loves exploring new restaurants and making great memories.

Ashley joined the practice in 2021 and serves as a valued Dental Receptionist. She graduated from Culpeper County High School in 2020 and has been committed to supporting patient care ever since. Ashley loves being part of the office because she enjoys helping patients and ensuring they feel supported from the moment they arrive.

She contributes to the practice by creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and clearly communicating organized plans for each patient’s dental care. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new activities together. She also loves painting and being out in nature, whether she’s hiking, jogging or simply enjoying the outdoors. To her, working in this office feels like being part of a family – both with her coworkers and the patients she helps every day.

Mercy joined the practice in 2021 as a Dental Assistant. Before beginning her dental career, she completed three years of Marketing studies at a university in Guatemala. She loves being part of the practice because she can make a direct, positive difference in someone’s life—especially helping patients overcome dental anxiety or seeing their joy when they achieve a beautiful, confident smile. Mercy contributes to the success of the practice by creating a calm and supportive environment for every patient.

Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, as well as caring for her beloved dog, Arctic. Hiking and travel are among her favorite hobbies. Mercy is proud to be part of this amazing team and is dedicated to serving the local community.

Chloe joined the practice in March 2025 as a Dental Assistant. She graduated from Falls Church High School in 2019 with an advanced diploma and has carried her strong academic foundation into her work in dentistry. Chloe loves being part of the team because it feels like a family, and she enjoys contributing to a supportive environment even on busy days.

She helps the practice succeed by talking with patients, helping them feel comfortable and at ease during their visits, and making each appointment a more positive experience. Chloe’s family background is important to her – her mom grew up in Arlington, Virginia, her dad is from Los Angeles, California, and she has a sister and three dogs.

Outside the office, Chloe enjoys working out, painting and graphic design, and going hiking with her dog.

Razan joined the practice on July 19, 2025. She enjoys working as an administrative assistant in a dental office because it allows her to combine her organizational skills with her passion for helping people. She takes pride in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for patients, from scheduling appointments to helping them navigate insurance and treatment questions.

As an administrative assistant, Razan contributes to the success of the practice by ensuring daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. She manages appointment scheduling, patient records, and insurance processing with accuracy and attention to detail, allowing the clinical team to focus on providing quality care and a positive patient experience.

Outside of work, Razan enjoys spending time outdoors on trail walks, expressing her creativity through painting realistic portraits, and sharing quality time with friends and family.

Freshta Hashimi joined the practice on September 2, 2025. She completed her dental assistant training at Shinozada Hospital and gained valuable hands-on experience working in a private dental office in Afghanistan, where she developed strong skills in patient care, instrument preparation, and chairside assisting.

Freshta appreciates being part of a supportive, team-oriented environment and values the opportunity to help patients feel comfortable and well cared for during their visits. She contributes to the practice through her strong work ethic, attention to detail, dedication to maintaining sterilization and safety standards, and her commitment to providing compassionate care to every patient.

She comes from a hardworking Afghan family who has encouraged her goals and ambitions throughout her journey. Outside of work, Freshta enjoys reading, improving her English, hiking, and learning new skills related to dentistry and healthcare.
Freshta is passionate about advancing in the dental field, and her long-term goal is to become a dentist in the United States.
